Weekly Bulletin

Our Beliefs

Our beliefs all stem from a commitment to the authority of the Bible as the true, complete and perfect Word of God. This means that we believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We acknowledge our inability to save ourselves and, in faith, depend on Christ alone as our Savior. We acknowledge Him as Lord in every area of life, and we vow together to advance His Kingdom on earth.

Doctrine

We believe that God desires His Church to set forth clear statements of her system of doctrine that can be supported from Scripture. We therefore accept as a summary of Biblical doctrine these subordinate standards:

The Westminster Confession of Faith
Constitution of the RPCNA
Larger Catechism
Shorter Catechism

Worship

We believe that worship of the living God is our highest purpose as His redeemed people. In the Bible, God describes how He is to be worshiped. God is the central focus and His Word directs the content of our worship. This is true in the reading and preaching of the Scriptures, as well as in our musical praise which is from the divinely inspired Psalms of the Bible. In keeping with the New Testament exhortation to sing praise with the “fruit of lips that gives thanks to His name,” we sing without the aid of musical instruments; this is a manner also consistent with the Christian church’s practice through many centuries.
